does any one know if there is a straight axel that will fit under my 70 Chevelle

There are no straight axles that will bolt right in ... for that matter, you would have fairly hard time getting the spring perches in place to hold the axle. I have to ask ... why would you want to put a straight axle under a 1970 Chevelle???? The straight axle swaps were cool up until the early 60's. The theory behind them is ancient and has been largely disproven by modern suspension techniques and theory. If you are trying for something different, you'll have something different, but IMO it won't look right since it's not from a period (1970) when straight axles were all the rage.

i just thought i would do something different with a 70 chevelle , as far as getting 1 to fit , i have seen a 65 GTO with a chrome 1 so iam sure there is something out there that will fit, but thanks for the input
