As a follow up to a question that I had asked in a previous post I went to investigate to see I had a long or a short MC pushrod. Rather than disconnecting the brakelines from the MC first, I just tried to remove the MC from the power booster with the lines in place, this caused the pushrod to bind and snap the pushrod off from within the booster. It looks like it is held in the booster end by some sort of plastic retainer which is what snapped. My question is, can this be fixed or am I in the market for a whole new booster??? And if so any recommendations ... I'm planning on running four wheel discs with 70-76 Camaro calipers up front and 82-88 Camaro front calipers in the rear.
