When fitting tail light housing to body, the 4 mounting bolts/studs that fit thru rear quarter do they have rubber washer or just sealer on or around them mine were not on car but i seem to remember seeing something like this? and if they are rubber or sealer what earths them for wiring? as this is what I am having trouble with, as I made up rubber washer type seals. No real good pictures in Ass Manuel Can someone give me an idea on this. Thanks

There is a foam like gasket that goes between the quarter and the quarter extension. There is no sealer on the nuts or studs. The bulb socket has metal ears on it that ground to the housing to get your ground. I hope this helps .

I could be wrong, but there is a large steel washer goes on the stud with black rope sealer, place the gasket on and bolt the assembly to the body. No sealer on the studs = water in the trunk. At least the original ones I have taken off have the large metal washer on the studs with sealer.
