My dad's 90 Caprice Classic had one. Buicks and Olds of the late 80's to early 90's had them. All had corporate, universal bolt pattern bellhousings.

They can be found in Three style of bellhousing configurations.

Above is the "Chevy" Bolt Pattern. The high center peak at the top is it's most noteable feature. Transmissions with this bolt pattern will mate to most Chevy engines

Above is the "BOP" (Buick-Olds-Pontiac) Bolt Pattern. The depressed flat at the top is it's most noteable feature. Transmissions with this bolt pattern will mate to most Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile and Pontiac engines

The third common bolt pattern is what is often refered to as the "Dual" Pattern bolt pattern. Or sometimes called the "Universal" pattern. Transmissions with this pattern will bolt up to engines with either of the two patterns above eliminating the need to use an adaptor plate.

The lower two bolts and the locating dowels are in the same locations for both the "Chevy" and the "BOP" bolt patterns. The locations of the upper four bolts is different. The "Dual" takes advantage of this and provides for mating to either pattern.

These transmissions also came in full size Cadillacs as well.

93 Fleetwood, would probably have a 4L60E. I have seen them in the early 80's Cadillacs, around 82-85. In 86, most of them went to front-wheel drive.

I'm running a sale on a few 200-4R transmissions. Three of them for mild applications (no billet internals). PM if interested.

I've only seen the 200-4R's in the BOP pattern (early units) and 99% of the time they are what I call Uni-Case, the universal pattern but it looks a bit different than shown.

I've never seen a Chevy only pattern 200-4R.

1990 was the last year of production for them as well.
The Cadillac code 200-4Rs are typically a AA code. Pretty good unit to use.

I understand. Shipping is about $150 on most auto trans anywhere in the cont.U.S. My test vehicle has a hurt engine so I've been on a hiatus shipping them and I should be back up in a couple of weeks.

I can do a 200-4R shipped for less than some vendors are selling them for outright... I have an excess of cores right now I'm eliminating by building them into units.

Thanks Jim,
About 400 HP on a mild rebuild.
I upgrade the sun shell and stator, and put some type of larger servo. Usually a Grand National servo, or billet, in some case a 200 3 speed servo (larger apply area).

I have a bunch of extra decent pieces to build a few 200-4Rs but without the "bling".
