before I saw the diyautotune nova article, I thought converting to EFI was a $3500-4000 proposition. they did it for $350 lol.

so after a ton of questions, I put together a tentative EFI build. after a lot of research, I was convinced it could be done for $1500, with multiport injection. as you can see, I got close. the motivation for me was that I was planning a turbo build and I really did not want the hassle of messing with a blowthrough carb. not to mention that a good one starts at $900 so in my mind, for $600 more I could have the exponentially more tunable and driveable EFI setup.


I love to keep spreadsheets of everything. helps me know what I need and how much it cost, and how to save money.

this is what it ended up costing. took a couple of months to find some of the deals but I kept looking. I never ended up doing the computer control distributor, but I was able to pick up a hei8 and coils for $50
