I'm despretly trying to install a Big Moroso Oil Pan on my car. The Pan drops 5" below the block at the front and right into the Draglink. I'm curious if a " drop " pitman arm is available. The whole car is made up of parts from various makes and models. Steering box is off a 69 Nova and the draglink is off a 66 El Camino. I'm not worried about the tie rod end of the pitman arm, just as long as it mounts to the steering box.
I would even be willing to change to a differant GM steering box. Does anyone have an idea where to get one ? Or any suggestions
( besides changin pans which is what I'm expecting will happen )

Have you looked at truck parts? Lifted trucks sometimes use dropped pitman arms, I believe. Whether it'll work on the Chevelle or not, though...

Never heard of anyone needing one for their Chevelle. I think you're asking for trouble trying it. You'd need to drop the idler arm and you'd mess up the arc of the stearing components relative to the suspension.
