If I understand it correctly, you can use extended pivot joints or extenders, right?

To inprove handling on a 67 Coupe.

I remember those being sold 20+ years ago. I just went with a tall spindle disc brake conversion.

Extended shaft upper and lower balljoints. Gives a taller spindle without the need to change the control arm. Also raises steering arm for improved bumpsteer, and slightly lowers front end... so claims the site and people who have used them.

Look at Rich-L79 post of 2-14-05. The string started on 2-12-05 Suspension forum. There is a picture of an extension and source.

That's not the big spindle extender without a tapered stud is it? Those seem like something I would avoid....

But I also saw what I believe were just "spacers" or extenders. Must have been the post you are referencing Brob but I cant find it.
