All, We're going to remove a pair of air shocks off the '69 E/C. Is there any special concerns with the air line that goes into the side? Or do I just remove the top bolts and then the bottom support? Replacing the coils too, looks like they just fall out after the frame is supported and rear end lowered slightly? Thanks in advance. Just inscrew the air lines AT the shocks to remove first. Not a big deal.

As for the coil springs in back, only done it once, so going on memory here, but remove the shock and yeah support the frame and let the axle drop. I think I had to do something else but don't remember. I have the body off the frame anyway.

Brad Frame supports first for safety. Compress (raise) the rear end with a floor jack to compress the springs slightly before undoing the shocks. It'll make removal of the top two bolts much easier as it takes the stress off. Once shocks are off, lower jack slowly and the springs should just about fall out.
