I have a 69 malibu that I replaced the front and rear coils on about a year ago. The front springs needed replacing and I thought I would just do the rears while I had it up on my friends lift even though they didn't seem that bad. The old rear springs came out fine with the exception of puncturing one of the air bags that were inside the springs. I knew that the car did not come stock with the air bags so I threw the new stock replacements in without the bags.
now the rear end is mushy and soft and bounces all over the place and has a wicked body roll in the rear.
I don't want to change out the springs that I bought new a year ago and think that a set of bags and some new shocks will solve the problem. Can anyone recommend a good set of inexpensive bags for my Malibu?
