I'm putting a '66 rear in a '69 and can't find any info on what springs to use. I know '69s have double-pig tails, and '66 only have one pig-tail. Is the pigtail on bottom or top of a '66 spring?

If the pigtail is on top, then I'd assume '66 springs will work, and the retainers hold the bottom open coil.

If it's on bottom, then would '69 rear coils work???

I'm hoping its on the top so I can use '66 springs and cut coils at the bottom if I want it lower. graemlins/thumbsup.gif I can't remember what the '66 I had had on it, and my '64 has coilovers so that's of no help.

I found what I needed (but didn't want to be true) so it looks like I'm re-using the stock 69 springs until I can afford lowering springs.
