Has anyone used these control arms? (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33583&item=2457384087)
They are pretty cheap, but I am wondering how solid aluminum bushings would be on a street car?

I think it would depend on the application. With no way to allow motion for the end bolts it seems like binding of the rear end could occur. For drag racing they might be ok.

SSM bars come with a Delrin bushing. I don't think solid aluminum would be very good. Aluminum has a tendency to gall and/or crack. I think I'd prefer some sort of more compliant material in there. Even the Nascar dudes use Delrin for bushings, not solid like these have, and ride quality has no meaning to them.

I have installed a pair exactly like those on my '69. No binding and excellent handling from the stock ones> I also added a 1" sway bar from OPG.It's like night and day. My uppers are stock rubber, so the rear would have some flex. Hope this helps. graemlins/beers.gif graemlins/thumbsup.gif
