i have a few questions for you guys. ive looked at some of the pics of the different setups on your guys cars. can anyone tell me if there is any difference for the panhard bar to be on top or on the bottom. isee some on top andn some on bottom. also does the four link bar on bottom have to be parallel to the ground. im going from leafs to 4 link just need a basic rundown on it. never did it before. what i have is 70 chevelle with 42" 9 inch ford rearend. car has already been backhalfed. but want to get away from the leafs.

I've seen them top and bottom on stock type suspension cars, just never with a 4 link setup. If the car is backhalved, I don't expect it to be for cornering. In which case I would go with a standard track locator or diagonal bar from the front of one bottom bar to the back of the other bottom bar. As far as bar angle, that will need to be adjusted. No, they don't have to be parallel to the ground. They will be close though. My ladder bar is set at 5 degrees down on the bottom bar. What I have felt is more important is that the bottom bar be in general line with the frame rail, so that the bar is pushing against the horizontal rail.

No, I don't have any pictures and I've been working 12 hour nights, so it's tough to get out there. You can look at the Chassis Engineering website and see the setup I have in my car.
