does anyone know where i can get the seal for the upper end of the steering shaft?..its a 70 el camino and its sort of a bellows type boot that allows the "t" end of the shaft to move in and out of the bell shaped coupler that connects to the steering coloumn. the seal has a wire impegnated round upper end and the other folded under itself and is clamped to the steering arm with a clamp that resembles an old hose clamp without the tangs. ive looked everywhere and have had no luck, so any help would be appreciated, even the proper name for it would probably help in further searching, thank you

The seal can be obtained from any GM dealer: 7802919 It fits most intermediate steering shaft pot couplings from 1968 through 1977.

GMPartDirect has the list price as $12.82 and their price $7.31 plus shipping and handling.
