I've seen a couple of different styles for 70-72 Chevelle & Monte Carlo. One is machined from a steel block or bar and the other is a cast iron piece that is much longer. Are both of these correct ? I've seen more of the block style ones on front drum brake cars and more of the cast ones on front disc brake cars.

Thanks

I've wondered the same thing, also I have 71 Lemans disc brakes to put on my 68,and the cast type porportioning valve was originally bolted to a bracket then the bracket bolted to the frame. now this bracket does not line up with any of the holes in the frame, but the valve w/o the bracket does. The 71-72 velles dont use this bracket do they?
