Is there any way to test a ignition coil to see if it is good or not,thank you

If it is a standard cylindrical coil, a typical value between the neg and pos post should be between .8 ohms and 4 ohms. There should be about 6K-15k OHMS between the positive terminal and center (HIGH TENSION CONNECTION)

Blaster coil:
The blaster SS specs are as follows-

.355 ohms on the primary side [(+) and (-) terminals].
4.4k on the secondary side [(+) and coil tower]

HEI:
Between B+ and C- reading 0.4 ohms
Between C- and high tension coil output - readings infinite.
