Anyone know the bolt pattern dimensions for stock brake booster to firewall mount?
I pulled a hydroboost setup off a caddy and didn't even think about it until I got home.
You guys know how cheap I am with this stuff ;)

Here's the pattern from my 69. Don't know if it's the same as a 72, though.

Hope this helps.

Joe. I am not saying Danny is wrong, but just wanted to add some point of view. I am looking for a M/C for my 66. It came without a booster with a single port M/C. Now I have a booster and a double port M/C.
The difference between te manual and power version M/C's is NOT the mounting flange. They all are 3-3/8. The manual version will mount directly to the firewall whereas the power version will mount to the booster. This means both measurements would be the same. Perhaps Danny overlooked that or perhaps the 72 version is different.
Hope this helps a bit extra.

I took those measurements from my old booster, not the firewall studs. Just checked again and it looks like the lower two holes ARE 3 3/8" C.C. but the upper two are 3 7/16".
Besides, what's a 16th" among friends? ;)
I know from experience that the left studs are farther apart than the right studs. The holes in my new booster were symetrical and I had to elongate the left one to get it to fit. MIGHT BE DIFFERENT ON OTHER YEARS!

Danny. I hope you know I did not want to offend you in any way. I just wanted to add as much useful information as I could. And you're right a 16" is near to nothing amongst friends! I appreciate you checked your measurements.
