I have heard rumors about being Abel to use the front disk breaks off a 1980 or 1981 Camero I was wondering if anyone had don’t his swap before and is it worth it over buying a kit from say TCI or wilwood and also what all will I need to grab if I find a donor car

Yes, you can use brakes form a 1973-1982 Camaro, as long as you use the spindle too. That means you have to buy modified ball joints for the lower, new upper ball joints for the Camaro, new outer tie rods for the Camaro...and you will still have 11" brakes. Try typing tall spindle swap into the search bar, we been over this a bunch discussing the pros and cons to the swap. if you are going to do it, you might as well look for a B body to get the 12" brakes off of.
