Hey guys, sorry im new to all this. When I bought my chevelle It had the vinyl top mosly done. The only part left to be finished on it is the lower rear part and the back as you can see in the pictures. I have some vinyl trim pieces for all of it except for the corner (the circled red part in the picture)...where could I get that. Also, how exactely do I get the trim pieces on....I have green lines on the pictures of where there are studs I think in the car....how does the vinyl trim stay on those and do I just glue the lower vinyl top to the body and slap the trim on somehow after? Like I said, im new to all this....I really appreciate your guys help thanks.

Merton, I believe the 70 trim pieces are as scarce as the ones on my 69, so in that case you may have to just hunt. I have yet to see any repos. I know the whole set normally runs around 200-300, and in some cases they are already polished, which may not be a bad option. Especially the time you may take trying to hunt down a single piece. As for mounting the pieces back onto the car, you need to buy vinyl top clips. They are plastic and should run less than 10, I got a set from ebay and from opgi before. They clip onto those metal studs, then your trim just clips onto those. Here is a link for the clips:
