I am looking to put a 4 speed into my 70 Malibu with a 383 stroker motor. It has a console floor shifter now. It currently has a TH350, and I was told that the Muncie 4 speeds are a direct bolt in replacement for the TH350. Are some Muncie's a direct fit and some aren't? What bell housing would you recommend for a street car...not going to drag race it. 10 1/2"? Last question is, do I need a new driveshaft as well?
