I've got a disk brake set up from a 68-72 A body. I am trying to put it on my 65.

The only problem is, two of the bolts that hold the steering knuckle to the spindle are stripped.

Do you know where I might find these?

They are big, long and fine threaded.

More than likely those are 1/2" bolts (though early year spindles used 7/16"). Can you get them out to measure the thread pitch and length?

The shanks are 1/2 inch. The require a 3/4" wrench.

The threads per inch is about 22.

One is 3.28 inches long. The other is 3.2 inches.

The longer is marked 86 O. The shorter is marked 96 M
