I got this car about 5 months ago when I was 16. It's nearly finished now.

That looks real nice. Nice work on the decals. What engine does it have in it? Obviously not the original.

That looks real nice. Nice work on the decals. What engine does it have in it? Obviously not the original. A W72 Pontiac 400 with heads, cam, exhaust and intake, probably about 320hp and 435tq, I have the original one though. It is a fun car but I am selling it for an SS Camaro or WS6 Trans Am. Just getting tired of all this old crap.

Woah, don't be talking bad about "old crap" on this forum. We kind of like that old crap around here.

I'd watch yourself if i were you. I know your young and all, hell i'm 17 right now, but the old crap looks better, performs better, and owns anything new, and quite possibly, always will. :p

If you want to sell it, buy a first or second gen Camaro.

You get some serious respect when you pull onto your school parking lot with a classic muscle car. :thumbsup:

The car is not bad at all. A WS6 with factory 4-wheel disk brakes is good. The turbo 301 was a little ho-hum, but that particular 301 block was stronger than all the other lightened 301 blocks. You did the right thing by dropping a 400 in and saving the original stuff. All said and done it is a really cool car for a 17-year-old to call his own :thumbsup:

:thumbsup: Keep the T/A, you can eat most of the new stuff with that car. Do some under hood detailing now.

Looks good:thumbsup: My question is,do the turbo lights still work on the hood scoop?:D

That car is HOT.;):thumbsup:

I saw the 4th gen you are looking at. You ought to have your head examined for even THINKING of ditching this ride for that...um...er...car.

Do not sell this car. Make yourself a challenge to get this car running harder/stopping faster/handling tighter than that instead of buying it and putting a "tune" on it or "re-mapping" it or whatever.

Black car cool: :yes::cool:

Beige car cool: :noway::boring:

One of my favorite years,great looking car. If you need any weatherstrip we carry some nice kits for that car.

Alot of my friends have nice cars and we revv and honk at each other every day, it's pretty funny to watch lol. Bunch of 67 Camaro's, Rambler's and Mustangs all revving and burning out like every day.
My parents said no more project cars so yeah, I would love a 69 or split bumper. I know where a few nice ones are too.

:thumbsup: Keep the T/A, you can eat most of the new stuff with that car. Do some under hood detailing now. Yep, kicked plenty of 05+ Mustangs asses. Maybe if I get bored later this week I will scuff down the engine bay and run a coat of flat black, my friend did that with his Rambler and it looks perfect.

Beige car cool: :noway: Yeah, I am sure this car is better than the beige car in every way except for every day driveability. The car stops on a dime with the brand new 4 wheel disk brakes and has plenty of horsepower with the mods. I really wish I could dyno it.
I have always wanted a new style SS or WS6. With Winter coming I won't really be able to drive this car so I figure now would be the perfect time to pull the trigger on one. Just kinda ready to get something different.
