1969 Chevelle Fathom Green Yenko clone was stolen from Lowell Indiana yesterday early morning. This was my father-in-laws car. He has worked on this car to make it the beautiful car that it was. It was stolen out of his trailer. Any news around about this car please let us know. As everyone with a classic car, muscle car who has restored or even worked on a car knows the blood, sweat and tears that goes into this and the feel of accomplishment when it is completed feels. This car meant so much to my father in law as it was the car year they got married. Please keep your eyes and ears open. Thanks you.

Dang I can't stand thieves that's why I probably enjoyed putting them behind bars during my years wearing the blue

Just a tip, nobody would steal the car to keep it because they would be easily identified in a car that's so unique

it would be stolen to be sold as fast as possible. Your best bet on finding it is searching eBay and (more importantly) craigslist.org

if someone was trying to get money for it fast it would be listed on craigslist as a salvage or lost title car. If they tried to sell it without the Internet it would take way too long and they would risk getting caught with it. When you post it online you really increase the market penetration and increase the speed of the sale.

I'd search all the craigslist sites within 300 miles of you for a green chevelle for sale, especially ones for a lower then usual price (don't bother looking for fanthom green, 69, or yenko. Theres no reason to believe the thief knows any details about the car)

I'm sure people on this forum would be happy to help out with that and post any probable finds on here.

Note: if you want me to call to get some more info, PM me - you'll be calling from the area code that may spook them if it's your car.
