I'm thinking of mini tubbing my chevelle and instead of running a 15x10 with 6.5 backspacing or even a 15x12 with 6.5, (right now I have 15x10 with 5.5) I have heard that those years of 12 bolts ('64-'66)are one inch shorter on each side is this true for sure or are they just one inch shorter all together? plus will they bolt into my 70 with no mods? thanks for the help

Its one inch shorter over all. 67 is also one inch shorter with a different spring perch.
