Okay, I'm an addict! I can't pass up a great opportunity, just purchased a stripped 65 malibu ss for less than a grand! It is factory white on red and has a pretty solid body but does need a couple quarters and repair on one door. By stripped I mean the car was torn apart by the former owner down to the shell. All body parts came with the car, has a rust free hood and deck lid and even the fenders are near virgin. It only needs the front driver's pan replace, the others and the trunk look pretty good. It seems to have most of the chrome/stainless includiing bumpers, grill side trim, deck trim etc. Also has some core bucket seats! How could I pass this up. Thinking about turning it into a gasser and radiusing the wheelwells since their needing replacing anyway...through a 283, muncie and maybe even a straight axle woooohhoooa.

You have finally arrived...Stuff a big block 4spd in the car and take stock in underwear...I am finishing the bodywork on mine but have a 440 bbc in and must say "Unleash the Furry"! I had it on the road before beginning the bodywork on mine and it was insane. It is so much fun it should be illegal!

Can't argue with the high windiing bbc but I just happen to have a 283 and muncie sitting in the shop. In the true spirit of the gasser I'd like to make this thing a piecemeal car with what I've got. Also have some 15x10 vintage coke bottles! I'm going to drag this thing home next week and will post a few pics, I'm a little gitty!:D

Congrats on the purchase, Jerry! Now finish it the way you want and go have some fun in it. 64elkynss

with rear wheel wells that have limited space and 10 inch wide tires, it'll most likely need the frame narrowed too. Just an FYI.
