Hi all graemlins/waving.gif Long story short - been waiting for almost 2 months for a metering valve for my '69, the supplier who shal remain nameless, has been telling me that they will be available "any day" sinse day one (ordered on 6-17).

This is the last part I need to finish putting my car back together, after a 1.5 year ordeal..

What options do I have, the car/engine bay is far from stock, but I really dont want some high tec looking valve in there, if I can avoid it.

Can anyone post pix of an aftermarket metering valve, or let me know what you used (please be spacific)

As always, your help in much appreciated,
Scott

Order an adjustable valve from Jeg's. Go to www.jegs.com (http://www.jegs.com) and type in part number 950-260-2220. You'll have it in 1 day since you are in OH also smile.gif .

You can put it anywhere you like. I would install it under the master cylinder for easy access. I've not used one but I have heard good things from those who have used them.

Another option is to use the 71 - 75 combination valve, they normally mount on the left frame rail. Here are the part numbers AC delco # 172-1350 and the GM # 1257177 still available.
