This engine is rated at like 400 horsepower. What's it like on the road? Mileage? Acceleration? Sounds pretty hot for a half-ton. I drove the 385 horsepower Toyota once and was very impressed with the power, can only imagine what this monster could do.

Technically, I own a 6.2L Cadillac, but it's just the engine & trans for my chevelle, LOL, I had to!

I've got a Denali with it. It seems to have potential but is choked. I have a custom PCM in the box I just haven't had a chance to install it yet. I was also planning an airfilter upgrade.

My biggest complaint is the trans shifts way too early unless you are standing on it (hope the custom PCM fixes it).

The mileage is relatively awful at 14 on its best day. I know part of it is the weight and AWD.

I had a 5.3 in an '02 Yukon and it was 18/19. I think on the bottom end, the 5.3 would take it.
