I'm about to mothball my original master cylinder. I don't see putting it up without totally disassembling it and cleaning to keep it from eating out the bore. Right?

What do you guys suggest using to clean it up? Its full of brake sludge and brake fluid.

Dave, just take it apart and use a good aerosol brake parts cleaner. That way you can check the bore and seals, etc, for any wear or damage! Be sure to reassemble it in the same order.
