My wife and I are thinking about getting a new Apple desk top. Question is we are currently using Microsoft and I was wondering how and if everything will transfer over ok to the new Apple.

It did for us with the two Apples we've had. We have Microsoft Office for the Mac. The Apple software, whatever it's called, opened all the MS files, but some of the formatting suffered a little. Get Mac version of the MS software you are using for flawless handling.
