does anyone know how to test the brake drums i have vibration in fourth gear and have tried everything. everything suspension ways is brand new. driveshaft has been balanced. u joints and yoke is brand new. does anyone have any other options to try?i was going to see if its the brake drums. but how do i test them, they are stock.

Got the same vibration in third gear at the same speed?? Why not try putting the car on some heavy duty jack stands with no tires and the lug nuts on to hold the rear drums in place, then run the car up till the speedo shows the same speed? There are a lot of things you can try without having to spend a lot of $$$.

Could be lots of things. I'd be checking the tires real closely. I had one where the tread was beginning to separate and causing vibration. You say fourth gear..do you really mean high speed?
