I have a 1970 chevelle and i need to find out if 1982 montecarlo disc brake spindles will work.If not what is a good aftermarket conversion kit for front disc brakes!

Well, the more I learn, the more I'd do it differently the next time, and will. If you are any kind of fabricator at all, you have all you need with your 70 drum spindles. You can buy repop caliper brackets from our sponsor, Ground Up for $109/pr without a membership and 10% off with. The top boss on your drum spindles are drilled/tapped for the caliper bracket bolt but protrude about .600" to far. I careful hacksaw and a file, a few goodies from your local auto parts retailer and "presto", you have disc brakes. Admittedly a little more work, but lots less money and....... after all, isn't that what hotrodding is all about........
