Who do you guys recomend for ceramic coating your headers ? I'm looking for the shiny silver color. And does anyone coat the inside also?
Thanks , Gene

It's called cermachrome, most powdercoaters do it. It is a dipped coating, so it should cover the inside as well.

I have been noticing a lot of powder coating shops are now doing ceramic coating. I would recommend looking into finding someone local if its possible. Otherwise, you could try Jet Hot coatings. But then you have to ship your headers out to them to be done. About the only way I can think of to coat the inside of a header is to dip it.

Also, local is cheaper and faster than Jet-Hot.

I had mine Jet-Hot coated earlier this year. I could have bought a new set for what it cost but in 2 years I would have the same problem I had, rusting Hookers.

My hookers are rusting. I am going to have my coated strip them and put a better coating on there over the winter.

Buying them uncoated and having them done somewhere seems to be the way to go.
