I'm looking forward to this project, I get to spend other peoples money!!! But the best part is, after it's done, I also get to be the care taker of the car for shows, the owner just wants to fly in!!! CB 10 here we come!!!

Good deal Mike, That Black Cherry/White Stripes is my favorite '70 color combo. I'm sure it will be a stunner.

Is that a Big Block under the hood?

That would be the original LS6 motor and most of it's original components!!

Have fun Mike! Please keep us posted with progress pictures as well as the finished project. How did you hook up with the new owner....I'm guessing he saw what great work you did on your L78.

Jim, he's actually a very good friend, I've known him for 44 years. He met us in N.C. for a show with the Blue car and since then we've been on the lookout for just the right car for him and I believe we found it. He lives in R.I. and there isn't much in the way of shows for this car, so after it's done we plan on traveling with the car to some of the bigger events. It's just another excuse for him to get on a plane and do a little traveling. Now we need a 2 car trailer!!!

nice! Sure like seeing them unrestored a little "aged" like that. Know it sounds funny but....

Keep us posted on bringing life back into it

Sounds like a cool deal. Theres a sweet black cherry w/white stripes '70 that I drive by daily. Its sweet torture, as my cars in a million pieces.
