I finally got some pics of the car with the new rims and tires. Also heated the rear spring to drop the back about 2 inches. Let me know what u think.

Looks good. I like the way it looked both ways
not a great fan of heating springs to lower the car...
Guess I'm old school, Have new rear springs in back
and took 3 sets of new ones to get it where I wanted it!

personally i love when the wheels tuck in the wheel wells in the rear on 64-65 chevelles. No rake at all just level and low.
looks great, maybe needs another inch in rear and in front lower.

Drop the front to get the tire to be even with the fender, then drop the rear to match, Like the wheels!

Ya that looks a lot better...but I agree the front could go down a bit more. It almost looks higher than the rear now.
But I love 'em low and mean. Check my pics in the link below to see how low I run mine- and I drive it everywhere.

The reason i heated the springs is because money is tight right now because im 17 with no job. I plan on saveing some money to get springs for the front. Thanks for the comments. And by the way the old set on tires and rims is for sale.

Looks nice, Id leave it as is. Yes they look great lower but may or nay not run into driving issues.
How does the car drive/handle with the heated springs, does it do anything funny? Too soft?

Drives great only problem now is the headers hit on the speed bumps at my school.
