i've got a big block performer rpm intake and it only came with one vacuum hookup located inbetween the car and distributor. The problem is that i have power brakes, pcv, and automatic transmission that need vacuum and i understand that the brake booster is suppose to have it's own vacuum sorce from the manifold. How does everyone have these things hooked up, without using the vacuum from the back of a carb (i run a 4150 hp that doesn't have that feature) The only two things i can think of is to tap another hole into the manifold and put the power brakes in one and tran/pcv in the other, or i can get one of those spacers with an outlet on it. How is everyone else dealing with this problem, i think the lack of a dedicated vacumm source is hurting my brake performance.

Hhhmm....I have a fitting that my trans modulator, power brakes and I think even my vac advance are hooked to....but now that's got me wondering although I think my brakes are fine.

That type of fitting is what i'm using now, i was under the impression that the power brakes needed it's own source from the manifold, and to not share that source with any other devices. I'm going to disconnect my brakes and pcv valve and see if that makes a difference in the trans shifting, because it's always been really sluggih for a built trans, and if this doesn't help then i'll probably just leave well enough alone. Junkyard, let me know how it works if you try splitting up your vacuum devices....
