Hey Guys

CPP offers a Pro touring kit for the 67 Chevelle.
It includes coil overs front and rear tubular control arms drop springs shocks and front and rear sway bars.

The price is good, so my question is what do you guys think about CPP?
I had some of thier stuff on my blazer i thought it was decent. Not outstanding but pretty good. How are thier chevelle components?

All I have to say is... the materials may be current and better but the technology is not as good as other options imo (SPC, SC&C, Spohn, C3 Fab, etc...). When I was new into the muscle car scene they were a quick and an easy cheap option which may be good enough for some people. After being around for a few years I realize you have many other options for not much more in price and better bang for the buck.

Having said that... I'm running their lower tubular front control arms only because I couldn't pass up on the deal. If I was spending MSRP, I'd reconsider most definitely. I've also heard customer service or lack thereof may also be of concern.

$0.02

Hmm.
Well is there anybody else that offers a complete system thats comparable in price?

For example CPP has this whole suspension kit plus there cross drilled and slotted big brake kit for $3500.

Thats why im considering it.

This is for my daily driver , with very moderate power, not a track car or time attack car.

All input is appreciated:)

The CPP stuff might be exacly what your looking for, it is more cruiser oriented and will give improved performance, but is not up to par performance wise to higher end set ups. And you said Dailey driver. We have (4) other brands we sell, but none of them will come close to the price. You would be closer to $5K for a suspension and brake kit that would include Speedtech upper lower arms, QA1 front and rear shocks (I would refer a full coil spring up front), Hotchkis sway bars, Hotchkis adjustable trailing arms, Front and rear Wilwood / Prodigy Customs Total Car G Machine kit.

Frank,

Funny you should post!
I dont know if you remember but i came up to look at that blue 67 you guys had for sale a while back , and let it slip through my fingers at the last minute!

I found another 67 and thats what these questions are for.

That car was a smokin deal. Guy who won it calls me every so often to tell me how much fun he is having with it.

For stance reference, here is a 67 we did with all Hotchkis stuff. You will get a smokin deal on the Hotchkis through us, spend the couple extra bucks. You will be happy.

While you`re on this forum you may want to look around and do some research before you buy anything. It`s not about how many parts you get for X amount of dollars, it`s how those parts actually work and make the car drive and perform that matters. Sometimes less is more, especially when it`s less parts that really work vs. more parts that are mostly show. ;) Mark SC&C

Before you spend your hard earned $$$$. You might want to ask CPP where they source their parts from. My experience with CPP is that a lot of their components are Chinese. Might explain the cost difference. I would shop around. The price may be attractive but long term you may wish for more.
