I bought a matching #'s 67 Chevelle with manual steering. There is a bracket for a power steering pump but nothing else. I would really like power steering but I am trying to keep the car as close to original as possible. How can I tell if power steering was an original option with my car? If I want to install power steering, where can I find info on how do do this?

The only way to know most original options is some form of original paper work like a build sheet, dealer invoice, etc... I just removed the P.S. from my 68 cause it wasn't in the car from the start. Most of the PS parts from the 68 & 67 interchange. You are only about 30 mins. from me. If you are interested in these parts, let me know. I was gonna put the entire set-up in the TC ads, then Ebay if nobody here wants it...
