Let's see here. You want to lower the front end 4" and maybe raise the rear 2"? If the car was level when you started, that will give you a 6" rake,,a little much,IMO. A 2" rake front to rear is plenty. What size tires are you planning to use? That needs to be factored into the equation.

dropping the front that much & RAISING the rear ?? sounds like you don't want to be able to turn a corner very quickly .. its going to handle like a wheelbarrel with a FLAT !!

Question on the stance. My 67 is leaning on the driver's side. I just changed the rear springs and shocks and it is still leaning. What's the reason???

How long has it been since you changed out your suspension bushings?

When I first dropped in my Hotchkis springs (all four corners) the passenger side was lower by about an 1". I figured this was due to all the A/C BS over there, but I dived in deeper into the suspension since it really needed a rebuild.

Low & behold the passenger side lower control arm bushing holes were elongated (and not to mention dry rotted out too!). More than likely you'll need to R&R your bushings as well as I've heard this is the cause of leaning many times before.

Just a suggestion...do what you're going to do to the front and take a look at it. You might like the way it looks without altering the rear height.
