Well my brakes have been shot for a while now ( dman smarch) but today i brought it out.. the brakes ( power drums).. the pedel will just go to the floor no matter how much pumping you do.. but today i decided to just slam on them and well that will lock up the tires ( im pretty sure just the rears) but besides that you have to push really hard and the car will slow down very slowly.. is the master cylinder shot???

If you've tried bleeding them and still have the same results I'd say the master cylnder is shot. Be sure the brakes are properly adjusted and the linings are not worn out.

the brakes worked for almost a year after i put on new shoes and wheel cylinders on the front.. then after going to the track they just died.
