Well tonight I got the passenger side suspension back together. Replaced ball joints, new backing plate and caliper bracket, new springs, control arm bushings, and spiral shock. Now just need to pack the new bearings, install new rotor and caliper...then onto to drivers side.:( Maybe it will come apart easier.

Some cars just fight you all the way. Keep at it.
If everyone could do it, these cars would be everywhere.

It seems you and I are working on the same. For some reason I do not like the calipper mount (guess that the name) that has the Right Stuff emblem on it. I think I'm just going to bead blast mine and have them cad plated.
Good job keep it up.

I recently installed mine too. It seems that the geometry on the caliper mounts is a little off as the outer pad is very tight against the rotor. I'm hoping when it all gets moving around and seated it doesn't drag. I also note that the brake hoses don't attach like the factory ones do. These repro's come in flat on the side. I don't know if it's a design improvement or what. I actually plan on taking my original parts and redoing them at some point and replacing these cause besides looking spiffy, they just don't seem right.
PS. The title of this thread caught my attention. My project has the nickname "Boxatatime".

A pile of empty boxes is a good thing. I'm finally beginning to find space on my storage shelves in that I'm taking more off the shelves than I'm putting on the shelves!

I installed the new caliper and pads last night with no problems with the mounting bracket. Everything moves freely.
