Well took the Chevelle out for a little cruise today on its continuing break-in and now that I have a little more power something snapped in the rear end. I was beating on it pretty good but figured the tranny would go before the rear end. Its a 12 bolt that has been mini spooled with a 4.10 gear. Was laying down some rubber in second and went to hit third and thought I missed a gear.:noway: Coasted about a 1/4 mile to my cousins house and had to go home and get the truck and trailer. Also it still has the stock 14" rims with 225 BFG tires so I didn't think it would take the rear out. I haven't had time to take the cover off and I have a lot to do for the next week or so, it may be a couple weeks before I get to take a look. I guess I was lucky to some extent that the drive shaft didn't come out and both axles stayed in. I was a least hoping to get the motor broke in this year.....not looking to good. Right now at about 200 miles. Did I mention it runs pretty good.:D

I agree....I would think would break the tires loose before anything else would break
