I have taken two speedo assemblies and made one good one. I noticed that the MPH speed numbers are different. The 1966 marks are spaced out further.
Not to mention the 1966 says bright, 67 has a red light for the high beam.
I'm sure I'm not the first to notice this,, by far

I wasn't really aware the spread between the speeds were different but know about the different arrangement of the warning lamps on non-gauge optioned clusters, mainly due to the 67 getting the brake warning lamp which meant the BRIGHT on the 66 was replaced with BRAKE on the 67 so the bright light lamp was moved to the cluster face itself.
66 left-to right: OIL - TEMP - GEN - BRIGHT
67 left-to right: OIL - TEMP - GEN - BRAKE
The exception would be the gauge option clusters on the 67, it's like the 66 gauge cluster - no high beam warning lamp on the face.
I've never physically seen a 66 and a 67 side by side for comparison. Do you have a good comparison pointing out the differences?
