I found a set of rotors on ebay for 70.00 for the set. Should I get 'em or resurface what I have?

Thanks

Check the quality, thickness of both your old and the new. Some cheap repos dont like being turned, they warp. Id go somewhere where you can look at them in person, check diff brands.

I would risk the $6 per rotor to get them turned, if they are still thick enough. If you can get a pair of rotors for $70 on eBay, then figure in shipping, too. The last time I got a new rotor it was $53 at Checker and it had the bearing races and studs in it, if I remember properly. So, $70 eBay (if new) would save you only a little. Try going online to Checker and Autozone and see what they now get for new rotors.

FWIW, when you buy rotors from Checkers, you'll probably notice a few different ones available for your car. Not only different brands, but different pricing, too. Don't spring for the really cheap ones. They're the same as the more expensive ones, but they're probably not balanced, and the finish on them might not be the best for squeak-free performance. I sprung for the cheapo's for my K10 when I replaced the front axle with a new one, since the old rotors were grinding rivets. I did notice the lack of balancing on the new ones, but it doesn't matter much, I'm running 35" Boggers on the truck, and they're not balanced, either. ;)
