guys bought these 66 pontiac seats to put in my 66 chevelle. Are the pontiac seat tracks different than the chevelle or will they just bolt into the welded chevelle brackets...they tracks look different?

IMO,The pont,olds tracks were diff. I have a set of tracks from a set of olds. buckets,1966,and they are diff. Seats are the same,at least the cores were.

In short I believe they will. A Pontiac 2+2 Is a B body car Isn't it? Such as a Bonneville or Catalina. If so the seats are the same and the tracks from any A body will bolt right up.

Just a caution. I think you will need A body tracks from a 66 or 67. Not sure but I think 64/65 are in there own group as well as 68-72.

Have you set the seats in your 66 to see if they would fit? That would be my first move IMHO.
