I am doing a frame off restoration on a 67 Chevelle, all PST bushings,Praise Dyno brakes,Moog springs, frame was blasted and I put on the POR 15,I am just about done but I need some positive advice on the rear springs;Which way do they go? I have searched the tech articles to no prevail,my question is two part.
1. The springs have double pig tail, one end is "flat" the other is "raised",which is the top?
2. Once I know the top from bottom then I need to know which way to place the pig tails on the lower perch. I.E both pointing right,or left,or both? I just dont know.
Want to do it the right way the first time,
If you know please tell me.
I still have a long road ahead before completion, and I want to wrap up the suspention.

are they the cargo coil springs that Moog sells? If they are the end of the spring that is wound tighter goes up. If they are not I think that one end of the spring will have sme White? paint on it and that end goes up. as far as the location of the spring on the perch. I think that Moog wants lower tip end of the springs looking at each other. if you were standing with your brake drum on your chest, and pointing your finger at the wheel cyl on the other side of the car. I also though that there were some instructions on the box that the springs came in?

Chip,
They are not cargo springs, the front springs had instructions and the white tips, the rear springs had neither,if I put the tips pointing at each other, one side would be at the front of the perch and the other side at the back of the perch.
Are you using the cargo springs?
