I am about to replace all for springs, shocks, all bushings and ball joints on my 1970 Chevelle. I have been told that gas shocks would be the way to go. However, I was also told that the 1970 Chevelle came with gas shocks. What would be the best application to put back on this car?

Regular gas charged shocks would be the best choice. I have used air shocks on an Elky, but don't care for the ride with them on a car. Lotta choices, limited only by your budget.

If budget were not a concern then what would be the best application?

My application will be 99.9% street. I may take it to the strip once the car is done.
