I'm looking to do a drum to disc conversion and i was wondering if there is any advantage to manual brakes. I only run about 10in of vac at about 900rmp and it gets alittle scarry with the power brakes with that little vac. Would i be better off going to manual brakes? What would i have to do to goto manual brakes from power ones.

It might be simpler to add a vacuum pump and keep the power brakes.

I don't want to spend that much on a vac pump.
