Is there a way to "sort" thru all TC members and list those from a one specific state?

Same for me. Cannot get map to come up.

Looks like it's more a problem with the images from FRAPPR, whatever that is. :confused:

Map finally did load, but it's not quite what I had thought it would be.

I guess you could look through the members here but they are not listed by state.

Years ago.....maybe 2002??...the membership list could be sorted by state which was a nice feature. When Al switched to the next version of the software, that capability went away. :(

Might be something we could ask the Don to make available somehow.

It would be nice to be able to do this. Members could locate other close-by TC members that they might not even know about. Seems like it would help increase the camaraderie from unknown neighboring TCers.
How would one go about proposing this feature.

Sorry for treading on your thread, but other forums I belong to have a military section as well. I know the LS1GTO site did. Just a thought.

On the 2nd blue menu bar at the top of every TC page there is a link labeled "community". Click on that and choose "user list".

On the user list page at the far right hand side of the larger blue menu there is a link labeled "search members". Click on that and then choose "advanced search".

On the advanced search page there is a box labeled "location". You can type in "Texas" or "TX" or whatever state or city you are looking for and it will bring up a list of users for that city/state.

This works pretty well but only as well as the user filled out their profile. If they didn't spell the name of their state right :D or didn't list it at all they won't be included in the results. Also a search for "Texas" will bring up a different group of folks than a search for "TX"...but together it will pretty much cover them all.

And of course there is always some joker that fills out the name of their state with something like "shark bite capital of the world" or some other silliness. Those aren't going to show up in the results either. :D
