prostreet69 Sep 25th, 09, 8:52 PM Very nice! You should consider lowering it about 3" on both ends. congrats!

1968 Chevelle Pro Street - Beautifully & professionally done Chevelle Pro Street/Street Beast!!! Super solid and straight body shows off the show quality two-tone black and silver bc/cc paint, new chrome, trim and weatherstripping. All new factory bucket seat interior w/original center console and staple shifter and best of all, “no rollbars”. The engine is a nasty 1968 427 c.i. big block w/factory GM “snowflake” aluminum heads & intake. The 11.5 to 1 compression, the 6:32 lift roller cam and roller rockers, and big tube headers w/4'' Flowmaster exhaust makes this bad-ass sound absolutely wicked and put out well over 550 h.p. Coilover rear shocks w/ladderbar rear suspension, Weld wheels w/rear Hoosier drag radials, power steering and U.S. brake F33I front disc brakes all makes this Pro Street a blast to drive. There is a lot more to this truly awesome Pro Street/Street Beast show car. Don't miss out!!
macs69 Sep 29th, 09, 8:41 AM Thanks for posting the pictures! Not sure about rim and tire sizes, will let you know in a couple days....
macs69 Oct 4th, 09, 1:00 PM Got it home yesterday. Rear tires are 31 x 16.5 x 15. Kinda nice, meaty looking without being ridiculous... Steering wheel swap, valve cover swap and air cleaner swap, and some spit polishing, and I think I'm content....
Chris_69_SS Oct 4th, 09, 1:08 PM nice car...really nice. what is wrong with the valve covers?
macs69 Oct 4th, 09, 1:17 PM Nothing really, but I think maybe a set of the CalCustom finned type like Ground Up sells, or maybe a set of Mickey Thompson finned "old school" type with the 427 logos might be more in keeping with the flavor of the car....
66SSFan Oct 4th, 09, 1:55 PM Awesome car, I always wanted a big tire car. It looks like fun:thumbsup:
winmon Oct 4th, 09, 3:37 PM Nice purchase!! Great looking car

1969ProStreet Oct 5th, 09, 9:27 PM Thanks for posting the pictures!....
No problem :beers:.
I had a set of original Cal Custom finned BB valve covers several years ago and I wish I would have kept them. I think the look great on your Chevelle .
