Being unfamiliar with oval and round bushings, I only looked at some of the bushings, which were round, so I ordered a round urethane bushing kit for my 70 from OPG. After removing the a arms on one side I found that the lower rear takes a oval bushing. The local parts stores only carry the rubber ovals. Would there be any problem with having a rubber oval and the rest of the bushing being urethane?

If it was me I would stick to one type of material for the bushings.

Send the round ones back (or just sell them off to someone wanting round bushings) and get the right ones. That's how I would do it.

I guess I'll have to try an exchange. Kind of bummed, because I had to wait almost a month for these bushings now I'll have to wait another month.

Muscle Factory may be able to send you just the 2 oval poly bushings. I've bought a couple of loose ones from them before. Or maybe they just sold them to me because I've bought items from them before..Just a thought.

I spoke with a tech at prothane. He was understanding and is sending me 2 ovals at no charge. graemlins/beers.gif
