I have a 69 chevelle with front drums. I have taken the spindles, rotors, calipers, booster & master cylinder, & proportioning valve all from a 72 monte carlo. I know this stuff will fit, but what do I really need to change besides the booster,m/c, & prop. valve?? Will the rotors & calipers bolt to the drum spindles? Will the current distribution block work with the power brake prop. valve? Anything else I need to know??? Thanks, Paul

OK, what you need to do is, grab the master cylinder and booster, get the prop valve and dist block. Knock the ball joints loose and take the whole chunk that falls off. That's the spindles, calipers, rotors, backing plates, caliper brackets etc.

The 72 setup only has the one valve that goes down by the frame and you need to use it. The stock unit on the 69 is a distribution block only. 69 cars had a separate prop valve mounted up by the MC.
You can modify the drum spindles to accept the caliper brackets but since you already have the spindles, change them, it's less of a hassel.
